Arrived in Dubai my wrench tool was taken: they “scan” you just after disembargment, not right before going on the plane.
Hanni and me walked around, trying to find ourself in between all the different gates and shops and enjoyed a wake-up coffee. It is not to imagine how big Dubai’s Airport is. Hanni had to go in direction of her gates, so our paths splitted.
As I had upgrade the flight Dubai to Melbourne, I was allowed to go to the business Lounge of Emirates. The first time for me “visiting” a lounge. It seemed like a 2nd world on top of the “traditionel” one. That too is big. Plenty of place, fruit, meats, coffee, ice cream and more à discrétion… Now I understand why regular prices are that expensive!
