Once again, the app for WordPress did made a mismatch with the order of the pictures.

The day ended with something very very delicious… and sorry for the Greek fans among you: the Turkish ones are better suited to my taste 😉

Izmir seems to be a wedding friendly city…. since a lot of shop are related to it!
The small mosque on the time tower place, where tonight in the Ramadan Periode an important celebration happened:
On my way back from my walk, I needed to eat something: 
The sunset at Izmir’s promenade…
With a strange guy pointing on the nice sunset:
People were invited to eat – because it was a a special date for the Ramadan. Some police men even wanted me to eat there. I though it would be disrespectful to just grab the food being not of their religion. 
And always a bit politics… it is alway Atatürk… and Erdogan… I could not find out the name of the third one. 
At some points behind the market, some dogs had found a place to hide…
Izmir has as well “other type” of architecture.

When arriving in most big cities, there are as the back side: smelling waste water… :-l
The entrance from north into Izmir is nice with cycling paths, green surfaces that’s true intensively watered

Sometimes, avoiding the main road has disadvantages :
Beside the dust, you can as well come across the more slums and less attractive parts of a region :
But as the chance wanted to be there: a nice guy helped me translate. He was seeing me some km away asking a boy where I could repair my bicycle while the boy didn’t understand. So beside helping me out, he even invited me for lunch into his hotel. By the way: same price as the one I had, but for sure better quality:
Well… after some km the gear didn’t want to change correctly: I had the correct assumption: a cable started to get issue and sticking in the drum. Needed to change the cable and the hose…
